Itinerary: Lima, Cusco, Arequipa and Machu Picchu
Day 1: Flight Lima – Arequipa / Reception at Arequipa airport / City Tour Arequipa «Ciudad Blanca»
You must be at the Lima airport at least two hours before flight time to carry out the corresponding flight process to the city of Arequipa; as the presentation of the bill with its respective identity document, then you will take a one-hour flight to the «Ciudad Blanca» of Arequipa. At the Arequipa airport we will be waiting to give you the welcome and the transfer to the selected hotel, the hotel will give you the welcome with a traditional drink and mate coca that will help you with your acclimatization.
In the afternoon we will visit the city of Arequipa, discovering the most notable places; We begin with the Plaza de Armas, which is surrounded on its three sides by double arched arches made of granite and sillar, very recognized for its symmetrical architectural harmony and is therefore considered the most painterly in America. Around the plaza there are numerous religious monuments, including the minor basilica and the Arequipa Cathedral, which display a neo-Renaissance style with some French influence. Later we will pass by one of the most visited monuments, this is the ancient Monastery of Santa Catalina, open to the public after 400 years of its foundation, in its interior it has a structure that is almost like a miniature city with streets that each have their name, passages and gardens. Then we will continue visiting the rest of the colonial monuments such as; the Church and cloisters of the Company of Jesus, the religious complex of San Francisco, the Mirador de Yanahuara, from this place you can see a magnificent view of the Misti volcano and the entire white city. Return to the hotel.
Day 2: Valle del Colca / Vicuñas Reserve
We will pass by your hotel to pick them up and drive to the north-east of the city of Arequipa, towards the Colca Valley, on the way we visit the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca where it is possible to observe typical Andean fauna such as; vicuñas, llamas and alpacas in a wild state, but before arriving at Pampa Cañahuas we can appreciate different types of birds such as flamencos, herons, Andean geese, ducks, Andean eagles “kara kara”, then we will reach the highest point of our trip, the viewpoint of the Patapampa volcanoes from where we will have a privileged view of snow-covered mountains.
In the middle of the day we will arrive at the village of Chivay (3633m / 11919ft), capital of the valley, a suitable place to enjoy a strengthening lunch, in the same way to spend the evening, after a brief rest, we will take advantage of the opportunity to relax in the thermal baths of “La Calera” with a temperature of 40º y whose waters have medicinal properties.
Day 3: Chivay / Cañon del Colca / Arequipa
After a delicious traditional meal, we will begin our trip along the lower bank of the Colca River, approximately 58 km up the Colca Canyon, where we will visit beautiful villages such as Yanque and Maca, typical villages that have their colonial temples, their population does not even see typical costumes embroidered by them, by assumption they are people friendly and welcoming. Along the valley there are platforms built in pre-incan times that are used by the inhabitants as farmland and function as relief support that also visually adorns the entire valley. Condors. Day 4: City Tours in Cusco / Dance and music show
At the Cusco land terminal we will be waiting to give you the welcome and transfer you to the selected hotel, the hotel will give you the welcome with a traditional mate coca drink that will help you with acclimatization.
Pick up from Cusco airport and transfer to the chosen hotel. Free morning to rest and acclimatize.
At 1:30 pm. You will be picked up from your hotel to go on the CITY TOUR: 04 Hours. Guided tour of the Santo Domingo convent. Later we will move to the rest of the archaeological sites located on the outskirts of the city of Cusco. These sites are Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. We will return to the city to spend the evening at the Hotel Cusco.

Day 5: Sacred Valley of the Incas Excursion
After the break, we pick up at our hotel at 8:30 a.m. to take the guided tour of the SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS where we will visit the town of Pisaq and its typical artisanal market and plaza.
We will continue the journey along the Vilcanota River to Urubamba, where we will have an exquisite buffet lunch, then we will continue with the excursion until we reach the tourist center of Ollantaytambo, where we will see important archaeological remains. Returning to Cusco via Chinchero, another tourist center of the colonial city. There we will visit the church and the plaza. Luego we returned to Cusco in the evening.
Day 6: Travel by Train to Machu Picchu
After the downtime at the hotel, we will stop by your hotel to pick you up and transfer to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo, located 1 hour and 40 minutes from the city of Cusco by bus. From where you will take the train towards the town of Aguas Calientes, the journey will last approximately 2 hours; During the trip you will be able to enjoy the accommodation of the panoramic trains and take endless photographs of the beautiful inter-Andean landscape. In the town of Aguas Calientes we will be waiting to transfer you to the chosen hotel. This day you have the option of visiting the city of Machu Picchu or its thermal baths, artisanal fair, museum. Day 7: Salida del Sol in Machu Picchu + Mountain
After the break, we will stop by your hotel for the transfer, this time it is highly recommended to take one of the first buses, so that you can admire and appreciate the spectacular dawn (if the weather favors it). In the Inca city of Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours, at the end of the tour we will have free time.
To climb the mountain you must take the corresponding route. La Montaña Huayna Picchu located in the north or Machu Picchu Montaña located in the south; from where you can appreciate the entire panorama of the great Inca City of Machu Picchu and the surrounding area to take photographs and get to know the place better.
At the right time, you should board the bus to return to the town of Aguas Calientes, a place where you can enjoy a variety of cuisine. Luego depending on the timetable of the train to go to the next station, you need to be there 30 minutes before boarding the train. Day 8: Air travel from Cusco to Lima
