Day 1: Cusco – Arrival in Cusco – City Tour, Sacsayhuaman, and Nearby Archaeological

Pickup and welcome at the airport or bus terminal, then transfer to your chosen hotel. Free morning for a visit to Cusco. In the afternoon after lunch, we will pick you up from your hotel (2:00 PM) to begin the city tour. More than a visit to the city, this tour will include archaeological sites located in the upper part of Cusco. The only site within the city of Cusco will be Qoricancha, known as the Temple of the Sun. During the Inca era, this was the most important religious temple in all of Tawantinsuyu (the original name of the Inca land). Here, you can find one of the finest Inca stone constructions. The next place to visit is Saqsayhuaman, located in the upper part of Cusco, where we will have a beautiful view of the city of Cusco. Here we will greatly admire the type of cyclopean construction built by the Incas, where we will find some walls made with stones weighing between 5 and 128 tons. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at Qenqo, another ceremonial site dedicated to Pachamama (Mother Earth). This is a natural formation that the Incas used, carved, and adapted to carry out their ceremonies. Here it is easy to imagine how difficult the work they undertook was. Afterwards, we will continue to Pukapukara, a fort where entry to the city of Cusco was controlled. Then, we will end the tour by visiting Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to water. After visiting this place, we will return to Cusco.

Day 2: Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel (8:30 am) and then depart to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. After Machu Picchu, this is another great option to visit in Cusco for its beautiful views, its people, the artisan markets, and the incredible archaeological sites that make this tour an unforgettable place to visit. You will visit the Pisaq artisan market, where ceramics, silverware, textiles, and other works are waiting for a good buyer. After visiting this picturesque town, we will head to the top of the mountain where we will find the archaeological site with its gigantic agricultural terrace constructions and others that are still standing for more than 500 years. After visiting this place, we will continue our tour along the banks of the Wilcamayu River (Sacred River) until we reach Urubamba, where you will have free time for lunch. Then, we will continue to Ollantaytambo another Inca center, where you will find one of the few places in Cusco and Peru where people still use Inca buildings as homes, the religious part is located on the top of the mountain where the temple of the sun continues to project its grandeur; In this place we finish the tour at approximately 4:30 p.m., then we will have a little free time to continue walking in the town and take photos, or have a coffee in the different restaurants there, at 7:00 p.m. you have to be at the train station to take ours, (the train station is a 10-minute walk from the Plaza de Ollantaytambo, this is the most popular place), there, we will take our train to AGUAS CALIENTES (Machu Picchu town – 02 hours), once we arrive at this place at the door of the station they will be waiting for us with the name of the chosen lodging, arriving at the lodging we will meet the Machupicchu guide to coordinate the visit for the next day.

Day 3: Trip to Machu Picchu Day 1

We will have an early breakfast and then head to the archaeological center of Machu Picchu by bus. The bus ride lasts 25 minutes. The guide will be waiting for us at the gate of Machu Picchu. Then, we will begin the tour. You will be there for approximately 2 hours, then you will have free time until 3:00 p.m. (the park is open until 5:00 p.m.). During this free time, you have the option to visit Machu Picchu on your own. If you wish, you can climb Wayna Picchu Mountain. After free time, we will descend back to Aguas Calientes (by bus). There, you will have free time for lunch. Then, we will have to be at the train station to return. Our train leaves at 6:45 p.m. You must be at the train station half an hour beforehand. This train will take you to Ollantaytambo (2 hours). There, we will pick you up and bring you back. Bus to Cusco (1.5 hours). You will arrive in Cusco at 10:30 p.m. (night in Cusco).

Rainbow Mountain Tour

Our trip begins at 3:00 a.m. heading to the town of Cusipata (approximately two hours), where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast. We will continue our journey through beautiful valleys, small canyons, and impressive pre-Inca terraces until we reach Rainbow Mountain.
The adventure begins with a breathtaking view of Apu Ausangate. After an introduction from our guide, we will begin our hike. The ascent will be gradual and will last 1 hour and 45 minutes (Short Route). During the journey, we will observe a variety of South American camelids, alpacas, llamas, birds, lagoons, valleys, streams, and snow-capped mountains.
After walking approximately 4 kilometers, we will finally arrive at Rainbow Mountain. This place is unique and magical, capriciously formed by nature.
