Detailed Program
Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Lima, where you will spend the first night and have a free afternoon.
Day 2: Lima City Tour
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin your guided tour of Lima, visiting the Old, Colonial, and Modern areas. We will then admire the colonial balconies, the Government Palace, San Francisco Church, the districts of Miraflores, San Isidro, Lima Cathedral, museums, and many other tourist attractions. We will conclude the tour with a visit to the Plaza de Armas and the Catacombs of the Santo Domingo Convent. Return to your hotel.
Day 3: Lima – Ica
In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you to board the bus to Ica at 11:50 a.m. We will be picked up at the Ica bus terminal. You will have time for lunch at 1:20 p.m. The Ica City Tour begins at the following locations: Ica’s main square; you can see the two beautiful obelisks, representing the two great cultures that flourished in the department of Ica.
El Catador Artisanal Winery; where you will receive an explanation of wine and pisco, made using traditional methods. You can also see the wine press used for grape treading. Luren Sanctuary; you will be able to see the current state of the church after the August 2007 earthquake. Huacachina Lagoon; known as the oasis of the Americas, a beautiful spot surrounded by palm trees, huarangos, and immense dunes. You can experience the adrenaline rush and try adventure sports such as sandboarding. 4:00 p.m. Buggy & Sandboarding Tour: You can experience the adrenaline rush and try adventure sports such as sandboarding. (1 hour)
Transfer to the Ica bus terminal
Reception – transfer to your chosen accommodation.
Overnight in Nazca
Day 4: Nazca Lines Overflight
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will transfer you to the Nazca airport to board a small plane for a 45-minute flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines, enormous linear drawings of animals, birds, and geometric figures drawn in the desert, which can only be appreciated from the air.
Afternoon: Bus from Nazca to Paracas
Overnight in Paracas at your chosen hotel.
Day 5: Ballestas Islands Excursion, Paracas – Lima
In the morning after breakfast, we will transfer you by boat to the Paracas Peninsula, home to the most important wildlife sanctuary on the Peruvian coast. Take a guided boat ride to the Ballestas Islands in the Paracas National Reserve, where you can observe sea lions, boobies, pelicans, penguins, and other seabirds. On the way back, we will have the opportunity to see the “Candelabra,” a gigantic figure of unknown origin, in the style of the Nazca Lines, drawn in the sand on a hillside.
At approximately 11:00 am, we will visit the Parcas National Reserve where you will visit the Flamingo and Parihuana viewpoint. We will appreciate the Cathedral, a unique natural formation, a product of wind and sea erosion, Red Beach, the only one on the Peruvian coast, and marine fossil remains. We will conclude at Lagunillas Beach, where you can have lunch and enjoy the beach. At the appropriate time, transfer to the Paracas bus terminal for Lima, where our staff will be waiting to accommodate you at your chosen hotel.
Day 6: Arrival in Cusco and Cusco City Tour
In the morning, after breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the Jorge Chávez Airport in Lima for our flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, we will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport to transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Imperial City of Cusco, visiting the Plaza Mayor, the Koricancha Temple, and the nearby archaeological sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Pucapucara, and the Sacsayhuaman Fortress. Overnight in Cusco.
Day 7: Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas with connection
Starting at 7:15 a.m., we will pick up your hotel with transportation and your guide to begin the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the Pisac ruins and artisan market. (Buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant in Urubamba.)
Then we will visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where the Inca ruins still stand. It was the religious, military, and cultural center of the Incas.
4:36 p.m. or 7:04 p.m. We will board the train in Ollantaytambo to begin our journey to Aguas Calientes (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes).

Day 8: Excursion to Machu Picchu
After breakfast, we will transfer to the bus station (at a scheduled time with the guide). We will take the bus up from Aguas Calientes to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival at the Inca city, we will be enchanted by the first impression of the marvelous city of Machu Picchu.
Guided tour of the main attractions within the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. You will visit the main square, the circular tower, the Intihuatana (sun clock), and the Inca royal chambers for 2 hours. Free time to stroll through Machu Picchu, take the best photographs, and enjoy this magical city. We will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, visit the town, or go shopping at the artisan market.
Optional Visit: You may also have time to climb Huayna Picchu mountain. (If you wish to reserve your spot for this mountain, please let us know at the time of booking, as there are only 400 spots per day.)
6:20 PM or 7:00 PM. We then take the return train ride to the Ollantaytambo station.
Transfer by tourist bus to Cusco (Plazoleta Regocijo or San Francisco)
Day 9: Rainbow Mountain
The tour to Vinincunca Rainbow Mountain is a full-day tour. We begin with pickups at 4:00 AM and return around 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We depart Cusco for approximately 1 hour until we reach Cusipata, where we will have breakfast (Continental). Then, we continue for another 10 to 15 minutes on the bus until we reach the starting point of the hike. The journey takes 1 to 1:30 hours. We will hike approximately to the summit for photo opportunities. Then, we will return along the same route to the parking lot, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to the restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch. After lunch, we will return to Cusco.
Day 10: Cusco Puno Tourist Bus
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the Wonder Peru bus terminal, where we will board our bus to Puno. En route, we will visit the archaeological sites of Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, La Raya, and Pukara. At noon, we will enjoy lunch in the town of Sicuani. Arrival in Puno at approximately 5:00 PM. Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 11: Lake Titicaca: Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island
Uros and Taquile Islands
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we embark on an unforgettable motorboat excursion on Lake Titicaca to visit the Uros Floating Islands. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Aquatic Tribe, build their own islands by periodically adding new layers of totora reeds. They also use this material to build their houses and boats.
We continue sailing to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua natives, who have developed, over generations, an efficient and original social system and a magnificent weaving technique. Upon arrival, we will have lunch. We will then hike through its hills and archaeological sites. In the afternoon, we will return to Puno and transfer to your selected hotel.
Day 12: Return to Lima
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Juliaca Airport for your return flight to Lima.
