Full Itinerary – Tour Machu Picchu 4 Days

Day 1: Cusco – Arrival in Cusco – Visit of the City, Sacsayhuaman and nearby archaeological remains

• Reception at the Airport – Transfer to your respective Hotel.
• 09.00 hrs start of the visit to the city of Cusco and the Church and Convent of Santo Domingo, Spanish construction on the Inca temple of Koricancha or Temple of the Sun. Koricancha (in Quechua “golden enclosure”), was the main religious building of the Incas dedicated to the cult of the sun and whose interior walls, according to the chroniclers, were covered with sheets of gold.
• Next, you will visit the archaeological sites located around the city of Cusco: the Fortress of Sacsayhuamán, located 2 km away. from the city of Cusco. A cyclopean fortress from the Inca period, it is built on three superimposed platforms that have an average of 360 m. long. Tambomachay, located 7 km from Cusco. Known as the Inca baths, it is considered a place of worship to water.
• Then, Qenko, located 3 km from Cusco; it is said that it was a shrine. You will be able to see a huge stone block of 5.90 m. tall that has the appearance of a puma, as well as passages, channels and stairways with engravings representing these animals. Finally, Pucapucará, 6 km from Cusco. It was an administrative and military center made up of platforms, stairways, passages, towers and niches.
• Return to the hotel.

Day 2: Tour to the Rainbow Mountain

• Our trip begins at three in the morning towards the town of Cusipata (two hours approx) where we will enjoy a good breakfast. We will continue our journey through beautiful valleys, small canyons and impressive pre-Inca terraces until we reach the rainbow mountain.
• The adventure begins with a commanding view of Apu Ausangate. After an introduction from our guide, we will start our walk. The ascent will be gradual and will last 1 hour and 45 minutes (Short Route). During the journey we will observe a variety of South American camelids Alpacas, Llamas, birds, lagoons, valleys, streams and snow-capped mountains.
• After walking approximately 4 kilometers we will finally reach the Seven Colors or Rainbow Mountain. This place is unique and magical as nature whimsically shaped it. After enjoying a quiet moment in contact with nature. We will begin our return to the community of Cusipata where we will have lunch. To end the day we will take the bus back to the City of Cusco.

Day 3: Tour to Machu Picchu by Train

• Transfer from your Hotel in Cusco to the Ollanta Station at the respective time to board our train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes.
• This trip is one of the best trips that one can do in his life, we will visit the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
• At the time agreed with the guide, you will take the bus from the town of Aguas Calientes to the Sanctuary. (Approximate time 30 minutes) We present our income from Machupicchu, Passport and ready to start the visit.
• We will visit the different archaeological places of the Machu Picchu Sanctuary, such as the Agricultural Zone, Urban Zone, Tempo del sol, Royal Residence, Sacred Square, Inti Huatana, Sacred Rock and many more points where you will be surprised.
• 6:20 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. We will board our train to Ollantaytambo.
• Arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station.
• Transfer to Cusco (to your respective Hotel). Time Approx. Travel 2 hours from Ollantaytambo to Cusco (Hotel).

Day 4: Transfer to the Airport

Breakfast at the Hotel.

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred from the Hotel to the Cusco airport
