Trip Itinerary - 5-Day Machu Picchu Tour

Day 01.- Arrive to Cuzco.

Arrive to Cuzco at any time we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the designated hotel.

Day 02.- Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

Full day tour through the sacred valley we will visit the Pisaq market and the Inca ruins at Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon we will take the train to Aguas Calientes town. Overnight.

Day 03.- Machu Picchu Tour

Full day we will explore the stunning Machu Picchu and in the afternoon we will return to Cuzco.

Day 04.- Maras Moray Tours

Explore the less trodden and unique attractive site of Cuzco region.

Day 05.- Transfer out.

Full Itinerary - Tour Machu Picchu 4 Days

Day 01: Cusco - City Tour

Pick up and welcome in the airport or land terminal, to transfer you to your chosen hotel, you will have the morning free to get acclimatated, rest or go for a walk in the city. In the afternoon after your lunch we will go to pick you up to your hotel (13:30 hours) to start with the City Tour more than visiting the city of Cusco in this tour we will visit the archeological centers that are by the top part of the city of Cusco, the only place to visit into the City will be Qoricancha (temple of the Sun) that in the time of the Incas was one of the most important temples due to that we will be able to appreciate its fine and beautiful construction, after we will have the tour to Sacsayhuaman that is located in the upper part of Cusco where we will have a beautiful panoramic view of the whole city of Cusco and get astonished with its cyclopean constructions made by the Incas with huge stones between 5 and 128 tons of weigh, following with the tour we will arrive to Qenqo that is a ceremonial place dedicated to Pachamama (Mother Earth), this is a natural formation of stone that the Incas scarved and adequated to take place their ceremonies of worship; after we will continue with the tour visiting Pukapukara which is a fortress where the control of entrance of people to Cusco was made. Afterwards we will finish the tour visiting Tambomachay which is a temple dedicated to the water, after visiting this archeological center we will return to the city of Cusco (18:30 hours).

Day 02: Sacred Valley

This day we will do the Sacred Valley of the Incas tour we start at 9:00 a.m., we pick you up from your hotel to go to the Andean market of Pisac where you can buy beautiful handicrafts then we visit the archaeological group of Pisac. Then we go to Urubamba where we have a Buffet Lunch included.

Then we go to the Ollantaytambo archaeological complex where we will visit this main attraction of the tour that has constructions with megalithic architecture in the main part, accompanied by terraces and simple constructions around it. From this point we will take the course back to Cusco, in the course we will visit the archaeological center of Chincheros and the textile production workshops.

Day 03: Tour to Machu Picchu

We will early take breakfast to then address to the station of buses (Concetur) where we will go on board on the bus of getting up towards Machupicchu (25 minutes; the guide will be waiting at the entrance to the citadel of Machupicchu to start the tour with approximately 2 hours of information (guided tour), then you will have time free to take photos, visit Machupicchu by your own,k if you wish you may visit the mountain of Huaynapicchu or the last road of the Inca Trail (Inti Punku) after the free time we will have to descend to Aguas Calientes and arriving to the town you will have time for lunch, after we will have to address to the train station to go on board. Ours departs at 19:00 hours (you may ask for an earlier schedule according to the disponibility) you have to be a half an hour before the train departure; the train will bring us back up to the Station of Ollantaytambo there the personnel of the agency will be waiting to go on board to the bus or return to the city of Cusco (one hour and a half) we will arrive to Cusco approximately at 10:30 hours (night in Cusco)

Day 04: Maras Moray Tour
